My router(WRT54GS V.4) is optimized at 240-260MHz processing data at high performance.

56mW on radio chip for greater wireless connectivity.

    Filter ports : 1000
TCP/UDP timeout: 1800seconds for my network which is used for online gaming(packet response has increased dramatically, but not at 120 sec timeouts or less)

RP PPPoE helps boost my ADSL link sometimes.

sheduled reboots every 12 hours helps fix/clear up wireless transmission errors and guess it also gives a break to the cpu from system errors building up,etc.

since ther are quite a few wireless routers in range and not much telephone or electronic interference =wireless channel is set from 2-5 or 7-10 incase of bad weather.

Added two one foot antennas 7dbi for better wireless connectivity/range.

Had to add heatsinks to router's CPU, radio chip, etc. so it won't overheat as much.
