Speed boost compatibility?

I have a WRT54GS and happy with running the speed boost which give me great performance whilst streaming video around the house. I have just recieved a new laptop with a broadcom mini-pci wifi card.

So I am looking at my options for getting speed boost on my laptop.

Now the laptop does not have a PCMCI slot but the new and not used express slot, so I could be patient waiting for an express card but I guess I will end up with a little bit sticking out like the PCMCIA cards.

So USB could be an option but means carrying somthing around or having it stick out like the PCMCIA option.

So linksys dosn't sell a mini-pci cards and I cant buy a 54gs router or PCI card with a mini-PCI card. I know broadcom supplied the chips for linksys so could my existing one be compatible? Or is there a compatible mini-pci card which is available that I can instll into the laptop.

Also I have my old WRT54G router and was wondering if I can extend my wireless network with it?
