When I has original Linksys firmware in my WRT54GS, speed of copying film from pc (LAN1) to pc (wifi connect g) was 2500KB/s. Now I have in my router DD-WRT #22 prefinal4 (Talismen) and speed of copying is 1500KB/s. Why is speed is too much slower?

How is you speed of copying from LAN to Wifi g?

Same behavior here with DD-WRT v22-r2. There was a fix implemented in v23, but I am interested to know what it was that was patched so we can implement it in v22. Is it as simple as updating drivers or modifying configuration files, or is this something that just will not work with v22?

If someone could explain where the wireless speed problem resided in the first place and what the solution was that would be fanatastic!

IMHO it was a newer wlan driver taken from one of the newer linksys releases. I don't know if it is easy to include this driver into v22r2.

it isnt the reason. you have to change the kernel, qos etc. the wireless driver is not responsible for the speed problem
