    Hi,

I have set PPTP VPN in my router and all my devices are now going through pptp vpn. Due to restrictions on Torrents from my vpn provider, i want to connect my home pc directly to ISP as they have no issues with torrents. My only reason to use VPN is due to blocks my ISP has put on internet websites.

Please suggest a method or script to split tunnel specific IP directly to ISP then VPN. I am using Advanced tomato which is built on shibby tomato usb. My router is Asus RT - AC66u.

Looking forward for help and advice.

    regards

If you know what blocks of ips your isp is blocking you could route those through the vpn and the rest could go through your isp. just simple routing for that.

Another solution would be to use your router to do the torrents. and give transmission its own ip address.

    ie: "bind-address-ipv4": "192.168.1.3",
    ifconfig br0:1 192.168.1.3 up

then you could route that through your isp and not your vpn.

try adding these to your firewall script

    iptables -A INPUT -s torrent -j DROP
    iptables -A OUTPUT -d torrent -j DROP
    iptables -A INPUT -s announce -j DROP
    iptables -A OUTPUT -d announce -j DROP
