Don't know if this is the right place for this.

I have a SRW2048 and would like to block access to specific URL's or IP's.

Using ACL is it possible to block internet access to an IP range (example: 216.178.32.40 thru 216.178.32.75) from all workstations on the network.

If yes, how? I have tried everything I can think of including reading the documentation.

    Thanks

I may have found my answer.

"There is an implied deny for traffic that is not permitted. A single-entry ACL with only one deny entry has the effect of denying all traffic. You must have at least one permit statement in an ACL or all traffic is blocked."

I got this from Cisco website and assume it is probably the same for Linksys.

I was trying to just add a deny statement. Until I get back to work and can try this again does anyone have any thoughts on what I am trying to do?

    Thanks
