SRX400 xbox issues

I have a WRT54G router running a WEP wireless network in my home. I connect to a laptop, desktop pc and my xbox wirelessly. I recently purchased the SRX400 to increase my signal and speed. Both of my PC's work fine. The xbox however connects but the connection is horrible. The game lag is unbearable. I tried hooking the xbox to the router through the built in switch and couldn't even get the router to assign it an IP. So, I hooked up the old router and the xbox works fine. Wired or wireless.

    Any suggestions?

Try disabling the firewall under security.

Is that for the xbox 360 or the original?
