    Hello everyone,

I have been looking all over the web for SSH Sentinel 1.3 software, no luck! I have a BEFVP41 router that I'm trying to connect to from a remote location. If someone knows where I can get it from that will be great.
    Thanks for your help!

You might try searching this forum. For example I found this thread right quick.

Update: The thread I mention above references a website that has a link for downloading SSHSentinel1.3.2.2.exe but I didn't actually check the link before I posted. If I had checked I would have discoverd that the link is broken...

To make up for it I found the following locations where SSHSentinel1.3.2.2.exe can be successfully downloaded. (At least at the time of this post.)

    http://ftp.up.ac.za/pub/linux/ssh/pub/sentinel/
    http://www.proaxes.it/download/Sistema/SSHSentinel1.3.2.2.exe
    http://ftp.kingswaysolutions.com/public/VPN/
    http://ftp.u-strasbg.fr/windows/
    http://files.jonrosensystems.com/SSHSentinel1.3.2.2.exe
    http://www.bdtinc.com/pub/software/VPN/
    http://lavazzo.free.fr/downloads/UTILITAIRES/-Reseau-/
    ftp://ftp.elet.polimi.it/users/rete/wireless/

Thanks for the info! Now, I have another problem...

Once I installed the SSH Sentinel 1.3, My PC has lost network connection after I have rebooted. Once I removed the SSH from my PC, my network connections works fine. The SSH somehow blocks my network connections, Is there any settings that I would need to change once I have installed the software?

    Thanks.

I've never used SSH Sentinel so someone else will have to help you with that.

Does it mean that SSH Sentinel work at your home perfect?

Have u opened up all ports as DMZ in your office? What is the port neededfor SSH Sentinel (by the way, is there a standard IPSec port in Windows or Window XP. I know there is a IP Sec service in XP but I cannot activate it or stop it and it prompt error when I activate it or stop it)......

    Thanks. :) :)

the common ports for getting this to work are 500, 53 and either 1701 or 1723, I forget which is for l2tp and which is for pptp. The only way I got this working for me was to enable netbios of tcp/ip in the router and nat transversal in SSH Sentinel. Other than that I followed the directions from the linksys site on how to use these two together and after a few hours of tweaking, it worked. I can't see anything in network neighborhood but I can access my shares by name or unc.

    Network

Actually, I have the following ip: --

    192.168.10.xx on Window XP (Client)

192.168.1.xx on VPN Server (using Zyxel P-335WT)

Is it a must that the XP client must be on 192.168.1 xx (not 10.xx)?
As I can use the above 10.xx on XP client to establish a tunnel with that VPN Server as per the technical support of Zyxel.

Also, after I established the tunnel, I cannot share any resources on the computers (XP and Window 2003 Server) behind the VPN Server?

I have added the Administrator to the list but still cannot share in XP or Window 2003 Server.

What sharing permission (just make it simple only, pls) do I need to set for the computer of XP and Window 2003 Server so that VPN client can share the internal network resources? :) :)
