Just turn on the SSHD in your router, download putty and you’re all set! :thumb:

I have my portable GAIM, Thunderbird and Firefox tunnel via SSH. Try a diff SSH client like Tunnelier and it will show you all the traffic going through SSH :thumb:

Here is a quick How To for you:

In your remote router, enable SSH. The default port is 22 and also enable remote access. The default port there is 2222, change if you like.

Download and run Putty. In the Session Tab, select the host router IP address or domain name as well as enter the port (ie 2222)

Next, go to the tunnels section. In the section where you can select local, dynamic, etc. Select Dynamic and enter a port number (ie 3333)

Go back to the sessions and now save the profile. Now you can select the profile and Open the session. If all goes well, you will get a login box. Username is root and the password is what you have set up in your router.

Next, go into your internet program and enter the connections information. You will enter a manual proxy setting for localhost and the port number (3333). Save and then try www.whatismyip.com and see if you can get your remote IP address. PM if you need further clarification on some steps.
