Static DHCP Glitch

I'm having issues with the Static DHCP settings. I can enter the MAC address & Hostname without issue, but when I enter in the IP, once I click out of the box it will revert to the last octet of the IP.

For Example, if I put in an IP of "192.168.1.2" when i click out of the field, it will turn into "2"

Of interest this only happens when I am trying to set an IP that is actually within the DHCP range I have defined to use. So if my DHCP range is "192.168.10.1" I can enter "192.168.1.1" without issue, and likewise if it is reversed. I have tried this using Both Firefox 3.0 & Safari on different systems.

The settings are all default fresh from a NVRAM Erase. Anyone have any suggestions?

That's just the way it works. When I enter an IP, it reverts to the last octet, but when I click OK and save, it shows the full IP.

Maybe this is so if you change the router's IP address to a net the static DHCP will follow?
