do 'Static DHCP' assignments work if the ip addresses fall outside of the 'DHCP Server' start and end addresses?

You want to use the range above 192.168.1.149 for static dhcp. I have about 10 devices connected using static dhcp. I had no conflicts. I started at 192.168.1.150. Addresses below 192.168.1.149 are used for guest access when friends visit and need wireless access.

You're actually asking the wrong question.

Many DHCP servers require that the static DHCP assignments be outside the start to end address ranges. Tomato is one of the few that correctly handles their being inside the range.

So feel free to use whatever range for DHCP and static addresses that you want.

Wow that is really cool. I never new Tomato can do that! So just to confirm. I have all my devices set up for static dhcp.

    192.168.1.20-192.168.1.24 (current setup)

I can change it to the following correct with out any problems?

    192.168.1.100-192.168.1.104
