I know that's an oxymoron but my Dlink DI524 has a feature called "Static DHCP" that lets you associate a MAC address with an IP so when the computer with that MAC joins it gets that IP when it asks for a dhcp ip. Can the WRT54G do this?

I'm running DD-WRT right now. Do recall where the settings for static dhcp are? thanks.

For DD-WRT, it should be in the Administrative section. However, in the Setup, make sure you also check "Use DNSMasq for DHCP" as if you don't it doesn't work right, currently.
