Stealthy Ports?

Hi all, I'm new here and quite the same for my WAG54G, I've just got it up and running and ran a sheildups common port scan against it. Now the results were good and showed most ports as Closed, but I wondered if there was a way of making them all Stealthy? Running a software firewall aswell works, but i didn't really want to have to configure two different firewalls, or more as I add more machines to the router.

    Thanks for any help.

I don't think it is possible. May be you can try to redirect unsused port to a fake local IP address ?

    Hey thanks for the reply.

Is there a way of telling which version on WAG54G I have? In the specs doc it say it's Annex B version, but not not the version, like a v2 or 1.2. It has an aerial so from the pics at the Linksys site I guess it's a v2. Brought it off my mate couple of weeks back and he can't remember.

It sounds like you have the firewall disabled in the router as all the ports should be stealthed.

It should say what version you have on the bottom of the router and on the box by the UPC code.

FTP ports should be open if you're running a FTP server but port 80 should be stealthed to unsolicited packets.
