apols if this doesnt seem clear, i cant think how to word what i wanna do.

    i have an ag241 with stock f/w and a wrt54gsv6 with dd-wrt micro sp2.
ive heard of people using their routers as a sort of proxy for accessing sites and makin connections to irc servers through proxies and the like. is this poss to do using the wrt54gs?

    <office computer> --- <work proxy> --- <home wrt> --- <inet>

    does that make sense?

What you are saying is a bit cryptic but you basically want to SSH to the router an tunnel all WEB and IRC traffic though the SSH tunnel. Here are some links on tunneling your WEB and IRC traffic.
    http://www.ssh.com/support/documentation/online/ssh/winhelp/32/Tunneling_Explained.html

    http://www.rzg.mpg.de/networking/tunnelling.html

    Example:
    Encrypted Proxy Tunnel:
ssh -D 1080 <remote host> then set your irc client (or any internet app) to use the socks4 proxy at localhost. Instant encrypted proxy tunnel
