    Hi People,

I noticed that many people after me got responce to a topic the wrote, so I try it again, since I still have a problem with the VPN Server / Client option in DD-WRT V2.3
Maybe my topic was to long and boring (the full story you can read at: http://www.linksysinfo.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=9855), so I try it differently

I think the VPN Server part of DD-WRT works and is operational.
My question that is left is:
Does anybody know if the VPN Client part of DD-WRT works and if yes, what to do or what kind of settings are neccessary to get it working ?

Thanks in advange for responding

Flush iptables to se if things work

Maybe the firewall is getting in the way. Try flushing the iptables and see if you can connect.

    1) telnet or ssh to the router
    2) flush the iptables:
    iptables -P INPUT ACCEPT
    iptables -P OUTPUT ACCEPT
    iptables -P FORWARD ACCEPT
    iptables -F
    3) test your connectivity

You might want to put a sniffer on the line while you are testing to see what traffic is being exchanged between yourself and your target.

Are you sure your routing is correct? You have a route statement to the target subnet; that is, the router knows that the target subnet is routed through the br0 interface?

I guess your chap secrets are synchronized? Check them just to be sure.
