Hi, I managed to setup the printerserver without many problems. Took 2 minutes to find out that one needs to reboot to change from lan to wlan connection. After that I found out that as soon as I connect the USB cable connecting to my hp 1020 laserjet the WLAN network stops again. I can see no logic reason for this, and my conclusion right now is that my printerserver is broken. Any one a good suggestion?
Try powercycling it after connecting the printer. Doe the USB light remain on you connect the printer? The reason you have to powercycle the WPS54G to switch from wired to wireless connections is that the WPC54G does not support simutaneous wired and wireless connections.
It is not broken, somehow the printserver is not compatible w/ your hp 1020 and the reason I am answering this because I have exactly the same devices that you have and I replaced the printserver twice. I am wating for tech support for an answer.
