    Hi
I am using tomato FW which i like very much but i have very annoying problem

Every 2-3 hours the router will suddenly wont accept/transmit info, sometimes it will disconnect and sometimes it wont...

sometimes it will disconnect and reconnect every 30 seconds until i reboot it.
sometimes it will be idle for 1 minute (no communication, 100% ping loss) and then will continue as nothing hade happend....

    Logs dont say anything!
this is what i got from my log
    "

Hi, Im having a similar problem with my WDS setup, every hour or two the nods disconnect, here is the log output:

    Sep 12 21:40:49 user.info kernel: br0: neighbour 8000.00:1d:7e:bb:bf:f1 lost on port 1(vlan0)
Sep 12 21:40:49 user.info kernel: br0: topology change detected, propagating
    Sep 12 21:40:49 user.info kernel: br0: received tcn bpdu on port 1(vlan0)
Sep 12 21:40:49 user.info kernel: br0: topology change detected, propagating

This here ( 00:1d:7e:bb:bf:f1 ) is acting as an AP only, Im running tomato 1.21.
Can anyone tell me what that means?

Topology change and bpdu messages are usually related to spanningtree. if you have potential layer 2 loops (like switches with more than one connection between them) spanningtree is designed to prevent those loops. If your network doesn't have any of those issues, spanningtree should be disabled on all devices. The drop in network connectivity you are seeing could be as a result of a spanningtree reconvergence.
