    Hi guys,

I am looking to buy a new wireless ADSL2+ router. I currently have a WRT54G running as a router and a seperate piece of junk d-link modem, which has now died. I love the linksys but I think an all-in-one solution would be nice. So I would like a wireless ADSL2+ router, and I would like to go with a linksys if possible.

The problem is, I want something that does static DHCP (or has the ability to port forward to a MAC address). The WRT54G does this with the hyperWRT firmware.

Do any of the linksys all in one solutions support this? Either with standard firmware, 3rd party firmware, or even by manually editing a config file somewhere is fine.

The WAG200G with Woytekm modified firmware does static DHCP.
But there are issues with P2P.

    I bought a BeWAN 700G RoHS (= Solstice 600EW I think) and I have no more P2P issues.
The Routertech.org modified firmware can work on it.

Look the last firmware changelog :

    Firmware 1.01.06 (12/17/2007) :
    - Fixes security issue with XSS and CSRF.
    - Fixes issue with UPnP crash when opening 10+ port forwarding.
    - Fixes issue with port 5190, 5566, 4443 opening.
    - Fixes issue with DSL performance degradation when running P2P program for long time.
    - Fixes issue with Access Restriction
    - Use new Cisco/Linksys Logo.
    - Added Single Port Forwarding entries to 20.

But still with 1.01.06 I was having problems with RapidShare DL (100Mb files...) + browsing that I hadn't with 1.01.05 WM.
