Well, my Sveasoft subscription ended in July. And one of the last things I've read in their forums was a post by Sveasoft, stating that Talisman 1.1 will be released in mid-July. So I guess it will be out soon.

Hm....wait.....there is something strange about....*DOH!*. Of course! We have October now. Perheps he meant July 2006?

all they do is block users, who criticise them for a poor support!

Maybe they should update their thread and add in Oct

It's too bad cause there's a few options in 1.1 that are really cool. Like the ability to limit bandwidth by IP/MAC.

    DD-WRTv23 instead of Talisman

If I were to use DD-WRTv23 instead of Talisman, then which file/s would I need to download for the firmware? Thanks.

by the look of the Talisman Announcements forum nearly ALL problems the team has fixed. this however doesn't say that it is prefect. i should guess it will be out very soon, however sveasoft usually keeps its customers waiting for months on end, without a final product.

it will be released when it is ready... is the normal reply:)

    Re: DD-WRTv23 instead of Talisman

    Go to www.dd-wrt.org
    Click on downloads
    Click on dd-wrt.v23.beta
The latest versions are 101005-2.dd-wrt.v23. There are three versions. One is a mini version, one standard (for the WRT54g) and one if targeted to VOIP.

Why is it much, much better? I am using both of them, and they seem to have similar features, at least for what I am doing. Why do you favor DD-WRT?

Don't ask any questions about Talisman or talk to your friends when James Ewing or Wolf AKA Jesse Brown are about unless you want a refund of your sveasoft subscription. I think they might be getting a little on the sensitive side. :jester:

    So- your point is...what?

Is anybody in this forum interested in ADULT discussions about the technology?

Look Buddy- wolf thinks you're a jerk, he's a bigwig at a company and he's decided he doesn't want you as a customer- the owner of the company is supporting his decision. Tough __it. Signup again with a different name
and stay on topic, and maybe no one will kick your butt out of the forum again.
