I just upgraded from the standard V4 linksys firmware to Tarifa b027 on my WRT54G. I am unable to get the incoming log to function or any keyword or url filtering to work. Are these known bugs? Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Matt

The incoming Log doesn't work in the original Linksys firmware, for this a patched iptables.c is written.

Today I tested this in Tarifa 027, and I am not getting an incomming Log too.

    More info later.....

    The incoming / outgoing Log

    To Matt

    Thanks for your message,

The outgoing Log does not have any trouble. The outgoing log, keeps all connections to the internet. Here you find all the standard internet Traffic.

Incoming traffic is traffic by which Port Forwarding (or UPnP) is enabled.
This Incoming Log seems to be empty now and then, one of reasons could be an overflow of data.

This week I will run some tests, to find out why sometimes the Incoming Log is empty.

    Greetings,
    jchuit

I appreciate you confirming I was not misconfigured some way and that you will see if you can turn anything up. If I can provide further details please let me know.Again, thanks for any help you can provide.

    iptables 1.3.5.

    To Matt

About the url filtering: did you try this in the original firmware? And yes, which version?

    Incoming Log
It looks like an iptables 1.2.7a problem, I am now testing iptables 1.3.5.

    Extra Info

    About Tarifa 028.
The Incoming Log file runs very well with Iptables 1.3.5., tested the Internet Access Policy, Website Blocking by URL Address, Website Blocking by Keyword and Qos.

The Log file is very Limited in size, the router can handle upto 1543 (3079 for GS models) connections and the Log file can handle about 64.
