    Hi Everyone,

2 tools that I really miss from openwrt and dd-wrt is
iftop and tcpdump. Anyone managed to find a version
that will work with tomato? I tried using the latest
from white russian but it keeps seg-faulting...

Any other ways to maybe see the bandwidth usage for each client
in one of those fancy graphs?

    Thanks in advance

    Michael

Hi, I want to have tcpdump in my Tomato too. Can you post a link to the one you have found?

After a lot of surfing I lost track on where I found
the statically linked tcpdump binary :)
(but if you send me your mail address I can send it to you)

After playing around I also managed to install a few packages
(tcpdump & iftop) using ipkg on my /cifs1 partition using
    the following instruction:

I've posted a blog entry with some more details on how to run tcpdump on tomato http://blog.gingerlime.com/sniffing-some-fresh-tomatoes
