Telnet commands for flashing?

I recently flash one of the VPN toastman mods and must have screwed up at some point as I can't access the GUI. I can telnet into the router and would like to re-flash. All my attempts at tftp have failed, no matter what or how I try it.

So, since I can telnet, I'm hoping there are some commands I can issue to flash a firmware via telnet that I have stored on the HDD.

If not, what can I do to re-flash my WRT54G-TM?

Navigate to the directory that contains your firmware file, tftp to the router, and enter these commands:

    rexmt 1
    timeout 60
    put <firmware filename>

I don't know if it works on all routers, but it works on the ones I use (which aren't Linksys).

On my e2000 I do this:
    mtd-write -i /path/to/firmware -d linux
