I am curious, is it possible to get remote SSH/Telnet to these devices?

Is telnet only available to the LAN ports, if so would a Port Forward be required to enable that service to be available to the outside?

Depending on the device/firmware available to you remote ssh is available. Personally i would not use telnet unless if was across a vpn and even then its like playing with fire in all but a few instances.

Yes I agree, and Normally I wouldnt. But it makes CLI access Easier through ssh/telnet from remote sites. ( and its not like it cannot be set to disabled :) )

Yes i do agree, and i use ssh for everything i can, its telnet that concerns me as a whole simply because of its insecure nature.
