Testing wireless performance

    What tools do you guys use when testing your wireless performance? Of course I can do pings, FTPs, etc. but I'd really like to have something integrated. Ideally having a "server" running on a wired PC that my wireless clients talk to and spit out results.

    I just copy a large (like 50MB+) file, both ways, and time it, (as I don't check performance for a living.... ;). Check with Tom's Networking, now www.smallnetbuilder.com, for the fancy tools that he uses.

    iperf for traffic generation/measurement and netmeter for observation on whether the data stream comes through in a stable manner
