    Hi guys

    Just want to say THANKS!

    This firmware kicks ass.

By pure principle I havent payed for Alchemy, but besides that, I have tried quite a few firmwares, before setteling with WiFi Box for a while.

When DD-WRT came along I decided to give it a try. And I must say - it is SO much better than anything else I have tried so far.

The QoS actuately works in this one ;-)...when downloading from Bittorrent with 100% of my bandwidth, I can still surf, get mail and everything I normally do without a problem. With WiFi-box bittorrent totally killed my connection while downloading with full speed....

The only thing I havent been able to make work is kaid (xkai) - hopefully this will be fixed in future releases. (as of now, the gui dosnt save the mac addresses I put in when pressing save).

interesting. kaid works here and it saves also the mac adresses. please note that the list of mac adresses must be end with a ";" also if there is only a single mac defined

    Pretty consistent :-/

    It dosnt here.

I have put in one mac address, separated every byte with ":" and ended the line with a ";" (also tried ";" and a linefeed), and after clicking save - when the browser returns to the same page, the mac list is blank.

I use Firefox under Linux btw in case that matters.....

mmh maybe there is another important condition. i'll to a test this evening with. for the meantime you can also manually start kaid by copieing /etc/kaid.conf to /tmp
edit kaid.conf for your own good and start kaid with the parameter to the new config from the telnet console
