    I have a Linksys WRT54G V3.1 with OpenWRT firmware.
I would like to turn the radio device completely off by hardware; I mean, I already know about powerful software tools like wl, wlc, wifi... etc but I would like to do it by handling the right pins.
I learned I have a bcm2050 radio chip mounted on my linksys but I cannot find out on internet its pinout description.

Does someone know how to switch it off?

    Thank you,

For ecological/economical reason. I'm working with that AP with a wired connection and only occasionally I use the wireless so i would like to insert a button to switch it on and off completely.

Then I should add I'm insane and I do like play with AP! ;)

Anyway, I don't think the software commands would do that, I mean completely switch off the radio module..
