I have a WRT54GS and WMP54GS. The speed boost does'nt work any more since the 2.0b4 (The maximum speed is 54Mbits/s). I did'nt change the configuration from 2.0b3 to 2.0b4
Configuration : Wireless Network Mode G-Only.
    Wireless Chanel : 1
    WEP
    Thank you.

I can't think of any changes I made, that would break speedbooster. Are you sure it isn't working? Maybe someone else can verify.

No problems here with same materials and version 2.0b4! Only different channel (6) Also with WEP.

How do you guys test what speed you're getting over the wireless network. A tool? Or some file transfer test?

    Thanks,
    Matt

    Iperf http://dast.nlanr.net/Projects/Iperf/ or
    Netio http://www.netfuse.de/techarea/netio/netio114.zip
are good tools for testing the performance of a network.

You could also setup an FTP server and use a stopwatch while copying a file from one computer to another over you WLAN.

Just don't use Windows filesharing for performance testing, as this has a lot of overhead and therefore will give you wrong numbers.

Awesome..thanks for the links. I'll check those programs out. My filesharing is all samba with a linux file server, so I could time a large file transfered from there. The linux server also has an ftp server, so maybe that as well.
