The WAN Cable Range?

    What is the range of the WAN port?
    Can i have 100m of Cat5e cable going to the broadband modem or is just 5m away?

    do you mean who long can the ethernet cable be that goes fomr modem to router. well i dont think that there is a limit. but every 100m you lose speed when using ethernet

    Depends what cable you are using...
    CAT5 will go so far but CAT5E will go further and CAT6 will go further again.

    Dunno what the figures are tho!?

    350 feet is the recomended maximum range for cat-5
