Thibor 15c, WRT54G v2, Firewall protection disabled, "Filter Internet NAT Redirection" unchecked. With these settings, I have verified that packets originating in the LAN and sent to the WAN destination address are correctly processed by any port redirections set up in the "Port range forward" and "Port Redirection" categories. But if LAN-originating packets are sent to a WAN address port which is defined in the "UPnP Port Forwarding" category, then the router rejects the packet: if it was TCP, an RST/ACK is sent; if it was UDP, then an ICMP "port unreachable" is sent in reply. This seems wrong. If NAT redirection can be done for statically defined NAT redirections, why not for UPnP redirections too?
