I installed the last THIBOR work on WRT54GS V2 US yesterday but I don't understand why I can't tune WPA2 Personnal only with "AES" mode. No problem to tune up WPA personal with "AES" but If I tune up WPA2 personnal only with AES I don't have any signal.
For now I run with WPA2 Personal mixed mode and "AES" and I have "AES" signal on wirelessed laptop (Atheros mini pci card).
Any idea about that ? AES is wpa 2 or not ?? What about "wpa 2 mixed mode" ?
About % power transmit signal manual 100 % is ok ?
    Thanks

Defaults of AES and fast roaming are the premium/advertised features of WPA2

WPA2/WPA mixed mode using AES provides all of these features as well as compatibility with older WPA-Only clients as long as they have AES capability. There is no security problem with WPA2/WPA mode.

WPA plus AES provides all of the same security as WPA2 except that it does not contain fast connect and fast roaming.

Of course, to use fast roaming you need more than one AP on the same network using the same SSID. So, WPA2 isn't very useful for most people if you already have WPA+AES.

Also, see the forums of hyperwrt.org, in the basic section for some directions on using a secure password. Any password that will pass a spell-checker (as a known word) does not provide security. There is also a thread that discusses the differences between WPA and WPA2.
