    Toastman & Shibby,

I was wondering if either one of you were working on Tomato builds for the newer Netgear open source routers? The ones I am referring to are the R series AC routers. The R6100-R7000 routers? I have been doing some reading around and have not been able to find any Tomato builds for any of these routers. I have found a few different DD-WRT builds for a few of the R series AC routers including the newest which is the R7000 Nighthawk. I have the R6300v2 and would really like to have Tomato running on it. The R6300v2 has beam forming and provides a way better wireless signal for me than my ASUS RT-N66U that it replaced. I am really missing Tomato though badly.

There's already a thread on this - Victek is working on porting Tomato to ARM. If a successful port to the newest Asus ac routers can be accomplished, then the R7000 may follow.

An approach of using RMerlin's asuswrt as a base for a port of Tomato seems most likely. Others may be working on it quietly in the background, but Victek has been most vocal about it.

Ahhh okay thank you. I didn't see the other post. I had done some Google searches and didn't come up with much info. I hope they can get it figured out. I really want Tomato on my new router. I am going through Tomato withdrawal lol.

In fact, there are currently 3 people working on this but there is no point in posting progress reports until something has actually been achieved.. It isn't something that will happen overnight, Be patient!

Yes I understand that. I was just wondering if it was being worked on because like I said I hadn't seen anything on it.
