    Hi,

I'm having troubles finding a recent changelog of Toastman, the latest on 4shared has a firmware since october 2011...

What is the difference between Toastman's and Shibbys?

I didn't find an answer as well on forums..

There are almost same - Shibby has BT, TOR, DNDcrypt, BW limiter etc.

Toastman build has things which you use everyday...

I prefer Shibby to Toastman build... but it is only up to you!

As far as I see Toastman also has BT & BW Limiter...not sure about the others..

Toastman has not BT (bittorrent client). BW limiter was re-added. But is very simply. my limiter works on all bridges and has default class. Toastman's hasn't.

I haven't checked out Shibby's in a while, does it have the Tiomo's features for improved inbound QoS found in Toastman's firmware? Very important feature for a complete QoS system IMO.

    It is interesting feature!

Shibby could you please add this feature - http://www.linksysinfo.org/index.php?threads/device-list-and-wired-clients.39405/

It would be great see if clients are connected or not, see their ping and speed... Please tell us your opinion :)

IMHO, Toastman build is more stable and is updated incrementally with things that work and known to work. So you're less likely to encounter new regressions with Toastman builds.

Shibby likes to add new drivers quicker.
If you like beta testing with lots of features, and aren't afraid of getting something broken from time to time, then use Shibby build.

    I run Toastman builds.

The two builds are pretty much compatible with one another, and you can flash one over the other without having to reset the nvram.

I disagree! I think stability and performance are on the same level. They have only different features and Shibby adds something new in every release.

Shibby releases 1 or 2 big updates per month, Toastman releases 3-4 small updates per month.

I think there are small differences, if you want more features just take Shibby... but if you want less features but more tested use Toastman builds
