Toastman: Do your builds include a toggle checkbox for wl_reg_mode ?

I've been reading up on old documentation detailing connectivity issues between Intel radio and Tomato using Broadcom ND. The thread below includes a suggested fix.

Wiki documentation indicates that this fix was incorporated into TomatoUSB, but I am not seeing such a checkbox in your Toastman builds. I assume it's still necessary to telnet in and manually toggle this attribute?

Established a telnet session to the router and pulled configuration stats. "wl_reg_mode=off"
So it does appear that this is set correctly by default.

    Tomato v1.28.7633 .3-Toastman-IPT-ND ND VPN
    root@unknown:/tmp/home/root# nvram show
709 entries, 15465 bytes used, 17303 bytes free.

However, this observation does not appear to solve an issue I've been experiencing. My Intel 3945ABG is unable to establish a full connection with dhcp IP assignment from as little as 1-2ft away. For 40-45 minutes I could not able to successfully negotiate a wifi connection with IP assignment to the client, despite multiple reboots of the router, the PC, and updating the Intel drivers. Signal strength isn't the issue and for whatever reason it seems that a connection is being established, but the client is either not establishing a connection or the dhcp is not assigning an IP (free IP exist within the configured range). Any ideas?
