Can't find an answer, sorry if this is obvious.

    Using tomato-K26USB-1.28.7500.2MIPSR2Toastman-RT-VPN.trx on my RT-N16.

    Enable on startup: N
    Remote access: N
    Remote forwarding: Y
    Port: 22
    Allow password login: Y
    Authorized keys: *blank*

I then attempt to ssh into the box after clicking "start now" but it won't work.

    jon@debian:~$ ssh -p 22 admin@
    admin@'s password:
    Permission denied, please try again.

I attempted to use the same password I use to log in. Is there a different password or user account I should be using?

I think ssh requires user 'root' rather than 'admin'.

Haha, that was it! I assumed admin was root. Thank you.

GUI = permits username "admin" or "root"
Telnet/SSH = permits username "root" only
