I have a WRT54GL and I think to upgrade the firmware. Now using Tomato 1.25 Victek and think to go to Tomato NoUSB Std from http://tomatousb.org/download. Do you think is a good idea?
I lose functionality or performance by doing this?

Until teddybear gets around to adding mac limiting and gui over-clocking the stability of Victeks mod will win out. The only thing the usb mod adds, that can't be added to victeks (like a gigabit switch of N-access point) is the usb part.

Still, both things are on the to do list, and it's still only a beta. Given time both functions will appear.

Edit: Oh and the speed mod also need to be added.

Don't forget Victek's RAF mod also has TCP Vegas, which I don't believe teddybear's USBmod has.

TB has Vegas, but it is only of value for WAN-based applications you are running on the router itself (it is utterly useless for anything requiring port forwarding or running on a different host).
