Tomato and WHR-G125 - slow wireless speed

    Hello
I have a Buffalo WHR-G125 router and I flashed it with Tomato_1_28_ND a few days ago. I'm using PPPoE connection, I've set it up and it's working fine. The speed my provider gives me is 60Mbps.
When I connect my laptop directly to one of the router's LAN ports, I get speed of about 45Mbps - I don't know if this decrease in the speed is normal. My bigger problem is the speed over wireless. When I switch to wireless connection the absolute maximum speed I get is about 20Mbps, no matter what I try. These 20Mbps is the speed when I'm very close to the router (about 2-3m away from it). When I go farther (10-12m) my speed decreases to 5Mbps.
I tried using different channels (1, 6, 11), I tried using different security settings, even Open (no security) gives me the same speed. I read and tried different settings I found over the Internet. I tried changing the Afterburner, CTS Protection Mode, Frame Burst, Preamble, Transmit Power setting with no luck. There are no wireless networks nearby.

Here are some screenshots of the Tomato configuration at the moment:

I'll provide more screenshots if necessary. I don't know what might be wrong and what might be causing these problems. Any help will be appreciated.
