Tomato -- DHCP problem

I'm running Tomato V1.28 on a WRT54GL, with multiple machines connected via Static DHCP, some wired, some wireless. Recently I changed one particular machine, gilgamesh, from wireless to wired. I updated its entry in Static DHCP to reflect the new MAC, disabled the wireless card and enabled one of the two wired IPv4/6 adapters on the mobo.

This machine no longer accepts the specified Static DHCP address of 192.168.1.110; it persists in acquiring a "Preferred" IPv4 address of 192.168.1.121. I tried switching to the other wired adapter, and it does the same thing but with preferred address 192.168.1.121.

Of course, everything has been rebooted several times. Here's the ipconfig on gilgamesh:

I don't know much about this stuff, but I figure I might give you some ideas to try?

Are you sure the lease for the old ip has expired? the .110 one. It could still be sticking around preventing it from being assigned to your new MAC.

When I want to assign a static IP in tomato I do the following:

connect and get a dynamic ip (you've done that)
click the "static" link in the Device List. Assign the MAC to your desired IP.
reboot your windows box. if that is too drastic, try ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew

I read elsewhere that it helps to manually set your IP in windows, then try connecting. It's kind of lame to have to set an ip in two places, but hey, it's windows. Once you are reliably getting the desired IP, you could try switching back to "Obtain an IP dynamically.

    Hope this helps
