    Hello,

I am running Tomato Firmware v1.27.8747 ND USB vpn3.6 on Linksys WRTSL54GS.

I have a problem in accessing the attached USB flash drive (formatted as ext3) from within WinSCP. I want to use it as a temporary storage for the theme files to be copied to the /var/wwwext folder everytime the router starts so custom themes can be loaded.

The drive is correct detected and enabled in the Web interface of tomato. It is shown to be mounted in the correct tmp folder.

It is also mounted as opt folder by the following command
    :

The flash drive name (volume label) is LinksysUSB.

However when I try to access it via WinSCP , the /tmp/mnt or the /opt folder shows me nothing (no further subdirectories) and neither gives me the permission to write anything over it (permission denied).

Surprisingly when I access tomato router via puTTy , i can see my mounted flash disk as a folder in the /tmp/mnt/LinksysUSB. However I want to avoid command interface to tomato and use the much easier WinSCP GUI.

Can anyone suggest what can be reason of the mounted drive folder not showing up in WinSCP and showing up in PuTTY. Seems strange. I am using root password to access via both the programs.

    Thanks for help.

    Closed.

Done. I was mistakenly giving the address of my other router to WinSCP which is also running tomato and has got no USB attached.
