    Hi

I'm new here and have been searching on this and so many other websites that I've gone and confused myself over the last few days, so I need to ask for some help!!

I'm currently looking for firmware that will allow me to use the WebGui to setup VLANs and WebGui for secure guest wifi and have come across the Toastman and Shibby builds.

I currently have a Linksys WRT320N running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/19/09) big and am not sure which version to use and how to upgrade to Tomato. I've read these links:
http://www.linksysinfo.org/index.ph...-stock-firmware-to-toastman-full-guide.68366/ - which is not clear about the firmware to use
http://tomatousb.org/doc:build-types - here it says to use NoUSB which I couldn't find!

    I hope someone can help.

    Thanks
    Shy

For WRT320N, there's no specific builds for this model meaning a generic version will do.

For a toastman version, go to this folder:
    http://www.4shared.com/dir/v1BuINP3/#dir=BpOGd6xw
    (RT (MIPS R2) -> 128.7501.3 VLAN)

    Then download the file tomato-K26-1.28.7501.3MIPSR2Toastman-RT-VLAN-Std.trx
or a version like -STD or -VPN. As long as the start of the filename istomato-K26-1.28.7501.3MIPSR2Toastman-RT-*.

For a shibby version, go to this folder:
    http://tomato.groov.pl/download/K26/build5x-108-EN/
    Then download the file tomato-K26-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-108-Max.trx
or a version like mini, minivpn, ipv6, etc. As long as the start of the filename is tomato-K26-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-108*

Flashing should be a straightforward process. Just flash directly from DD-WRT, shouldn't need to revert to original firmware. (I've flashed from DD-WRT to Tomato and vice versa on a E4200, E3200, WRT160N v3 just fine).

Just make sure you RESET your nvram (settings) BEFORE you do the flash, otherwise if you flash it Tomato with DD-WRT nvram settings it could cause errors/no boot.

Perfect! I will have a go with the Shibby build tonight. Thank you very much for this info.
