Tomato internet access

Once again my curiosity, running ahead of my skill set, has led me to a good place, this forum.
My linksys WRT 54G v2.2 router was working perfectly, so I “fixed†it. I installed Tomato 1.28. Now I do not have internet access.
The router internet green light is on
    Status: connected
    Connection type: DHCP
    IP Address 192.168.1.41
    Gateway: 192.168.1.2254
    Done release/renew; 30-30-30
What is the next step that I am missing.
This is not mission critical, I have other running routers.
    So:
    1) How do I get internet?
    2) Where is the Tomato “go back†command to flash the firmware back to Linksys (I have the .bin file)?
    Your new friend,

    Gateway: 192.168.1.2254 ?????

    2254 really?

254 is the highest ip for a that subnet.
