This is a bit of a technical question: I have samba setup on my Tomato ND 1.25 WL-520gU, and from the logs, I keep seeing something like below (every few minutes). I have ~10 computers on the network, and "JACOB-PC" is the only one that has the samba local master browser err:

Can you tell me what it means, or why (and what) there is a conflict? Is there a way to disable this recurring conflict, as it's really causing other relevant info to be flushed from the Tomato log. Would disabling file sharing on JACOB-PC help (since he doesn't use Windows filesharing anyways).

First of all: It's nothing to worry about. Right now I don't have the time to explain in detail, but be assured: That's no problem.

What OS does JACOB-PC run? Newer versions of windows usually "win" the browser election. If I remember correctly, you prevent elections by stopping the Computer Browser servers on all the clients and set it to manual.
