Thanks for posting the link to this version. The detailed traffic breakdown per IP/MAC will be nice if the author is able to sort it out & get it working reliably.

I suppose the p2p enhancements will be attractive to some, but I would never use it. I have a handful of firewall rules to keep p2p traffic off my local network. But it's a different story at the ISP level & I agree that it sucks when your ISP decides to selectively censor traffic. I'm going to stick with Jon's 'stock' Tomato for now, but will keep an eye on your work here.

Wouldn't he by GPL have to anyway?

Going to wait for the proper traffic counter before trying, that's pretty much the holy grail of consumer router for me.

But maybe some others can help you with this bug if you provide sources of course

I think I'll stick with the official version put out by Jon! It's been rock solid and can trust any changes he implements. Hopefully any other people making changes to the official Tomato firmware and making it available for download will also put the source code up for download.

Why do you want the source code ?

It's interesting what you mention, no changes in the source code was made in this asp, so, original version should reproduce the same behaviour. Let me know please.
Unfortunately I'm not using UPnP... just to avoid undesired requests from LAN PC's.

    Cheers. Victek

You are correct Pharma, my mod is only adequate for spanish ISP and doesn't bring remarkable features out of it. I appreciate your comment.

For the same reason Jon (and most third party firmware makers) make it available -- to be able to check the validity of the coding and to make sure no "hacks" are included.

Because you can't be sure that there isn't any malicious code or hidden back doors without being able to examine the source. And ideally, subsequently compiling it yourself. This is not to malign the author's mod here. Simply saying that the credibility is unknown if the source is not made available.

    Hi all,

Some of the functions added to this version provoked disrupt behaviour on UPnP, I'm trying to seek why this problems occurs. What I can say is that a compilation from the original source code runs OK. As soon as I will be able to fix the trouble I will create and post a mod pack to all of you interested in this mod.

I also answered some private e.mail and supplied the source and the "How to" to add these functions, but as I said.. it provokes other features to stop running correctly. Digitalgeek, thanks for the advice.

Problem with UPnP fixed.. you can download new bin files and source code together in this file.

Thanks and please post any problem you can detect. Information is welcome.
