Tomato over DD-WRT (WRT54GL 1.1)...How?

OK. Please be patient with me.

    Have a WRT54GL 1.1 with DD-WRT SP2 installed.

I want to give Tomato a try as I'm still having some problems with my wireless print server getting dropped.

TO flash to Tomato. I should simply revert back to the Linksys firmware...and then flash to Tomato.

Problem is, Linksys site does not list firmware for 1.1 - Should I just use the firmware for 1.0 then flash to Tomato?

    Thanks for any clarification!

just do a hard-reset using the reset-button in the back of your WRT54GL device while still under dd-wrt, connect to it and flash over the tomato image, then afterwards, again do a hard-reset. then you're done.

Whoever told you this was wrong. If you already have dd-wrt, simply do a firmware upgrade from dd-wrt menu using the Tomato firmware file.

Yep, absolutely no need to flash to Linksys firmware. Just reset before, flash to Tomato, then reset again.
