Tomato QoS for WLAN with WDS - possible?

    Hi all,

    We're running 4 routers (3 WHR-HP-G54s, 1 WRT54G) in a WDS network. The topology is as follows:

As you can see in the diagram, AP1 carries all the wireless traffic between the LAN and WLAN segments, regardless of which AP the client is connected to.

We're considering a VOIP system which will partially run over the wireless segments of the network. I'm keen to apply some QoS to the WLAN APs, to make sure that SIP traffic gets priority over other network traffic (such as file transfers to the fileserver, which sits on the LAN). To hopefully simplify things, the VOIP equipment will be in a specific block of IPs (192.168.2.0 - 192.168.2.254) so we can avoid port-level QoS.

To be clear, this isn't anything to do with internet traffic - this is all traffic which will stay on the LAN.

How can I apply QoS to the WLAN interfaces on the APs? Is it even possible? I realise it's beyond the scope of the GUI, but can anyone get me started with a firewall script?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Ed
