Here we get vendor id (12d1) and product id (1446) of Huawei EC167 modem. However product id as 1446 means that the modem acts as a storage device rather than as a modem.

Yes, I did that...Have you done a completly NVRAM reset and configure all setting by hand again?
You have to do a "Erase all data in NVRAM memmory (thorough)"
Try it and se if that solve your problem.
For WLAN I'm using FTTB/LAN. I'm streaming in LAN not WIFI.I use torrent some time with utorrent with original settings with up/down setted to full speed on my 10/10 fiber with no issue.
I use both build as you can se in my signature. What are you using, adsl or lan ? Do you stream in LAN or WIFI ?
Sorry, maybe I'm an idiot, but I can't find any settings for 100 Mbp/s... I found something but is WAN related not LAN and no, I haven't anything that is green LAN or power saving.Try to set your LAN ports 100MB/ps not auto. Do you have green lan or some power savings turned on ?
You can find your lan settings her to set 100MB/ps duplex and green ethernet.
If you have USB port on your router, you can install Tomato Optware Package wich contains rtorrent, but, I can tell you from my experience, Transmission is by far, the bestThank you Shibby! I used this guide (http://www.myopenrouter.com/article/14430/How-To-Install-Tomato-Firmware-on-NETGEAR-WNR3500L/) to install tomato-K26USB-1.28.905xRAF-EN-MIPSR2-079V-BT-VPN on my Netgear 3500L router. It work's like a charm!
Is it possible to use another BitTorrent client like uTorrent or ruTorrent instead of Transmission? In that case, how do I do it?
