Tomato Setup On WRT54G

I guess what I need is a beginners guide for the Tomato firmware. The problem I am having is that when I am running P2P apps, particularly bittorrent, the router disconnects every 3-6 hours. I was told this was the infamous "5 day" problem with the Linksys firmware, so I tried Tomato.

I am still getting the disconnect problem, exactly as it was before. I have increased maximum connections to 4096. The problem is still there. I'm sure there must be some setting I'm forgetting about that can fix this.

    My setup:
WRT54G v.2 with Tomato 1.06... (whatever latest firmware is, from 3/23/07)
Windows XP Media Center running uTorrent

I would really appreciate any help or links to any Tomato tutorial written for someone with limited networking experience.
