    Specific Build I'm using:

    Linksys E4200 V1

Speed on OpenVpn connection with this build caps out at 8-9Mbit. The first thing everyone will say is that of course OpenVPN connections max out at that speed, but I use my VPN for Netflix so I actually turn my encryption and compression off, so it is using very little CPU at the router level so I don't cap out at 9-10Mbit like most users, I get my full 25Mbit.

    1. Turning off OpenVPN connection with this build and going with my ISPs connection will result in my full 25Mbit speed.

    2. I wanted to be extra sure, so I rolled back to tomato-E4200USB-NVRAM60K-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-112-AIO and my full speed came back as well.

It's an easy bug to miss because most people would have encryption on and they would max out between 8-10Mbit, I hope the information I provided help gets this resolved. For the time being I'm staying on 112.

Can someone please confirm they got this to Shibby or tell me if there is an official way to log bugs for Tomato Shibby.

    i`m here ;)

between 112 and 114 was no any changes in OpenVPN but n 114 was imported a huge part of kernel from Asus sources. Can you test v114 and tell me a result of speed? Maybe this will be a clue.

    Hey Shibby,

Sure, I would be glad to test it. I'll let you know tonight as I'm at work now.

I tested and I can confirm the problem was introduced 114 as I just loaded on tomato-E4200USB-NVRAM60K-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-114-AIO and that issue is there as you suspected.

Let me know if you need me to do ay more testing, for now I'm back on 112.

By any chance was this resolved in 116?

I tried 116 but same issue with openVPN speed.

    Hi Shibby,

I really miss having full speed on VPN, are you targeting a release that will have this fix by any chance?

I could help test if you want, you need a VPN connection that allows you to turn off all encryption.
