Shibby, would you be able to post the MD5 / SHA1 hash of tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-105-AIO-64K so I know the file I'm downloading from eahm is legit? It's not that I don't trust him/her, I'm just paranoid and want to make sure this file is unaltered :)

Sorry to ask again but is it and how, possible to change the data port value of the usb modem and another port value from 0 to 3 and 2 for the vodafone zte k3806-z in order to work with your firmware? I had posted my problem here

    Hi Shibby,

Thanks for the support. I've tested your RT-N builds starting from 85 and its fully supported. one issue is the vlan mapping after build 104 when you added the vlan mapping on rt-n53. i think cw-5358u is like rt-n10u but different boardrev. hope you could add the vlan fix on your next build.

    Here's the info you need.

    Hello!
First of all many thanks to Shibby! Really great firmware! Use it with my third router!
Now I use 105 AIO on WNR3500Lv2, could somebody please tell me how to decrease router cpu speed? 300MGhz or even less would be fine for my 30\15mbit internet and also I want to reduce the router temperature.

OpenVPN client not working on v105?

I forgot to keep the error message before going back to 104 but neither of my two OVPN clients would come up after a flash. I re entered the keys but no change. The changelog mentions upgrading OVPN. I believe the error code was 141. The Tap driver shows loading after the error.

@shibby, 105 RT-N66 64 AIO will no longer initialise my Huawei E392 LTE/3G modem, gone back to 104 and it's ok.

    Please fix modem issue, thanks

    Mangix Networkin' Nut Member

Toastman has been advising in his QoS thread to limit download and upload speeds to 85% of the real. No real news there.

Also, CoDel will never make it in tomato. It requires kernel 3.3 and up or someone to backport Byte Queue Limits, which will probably not happen due to the complexity required.

edit since i didn't feel like making a new post: Thanks for fixing the size for the E1200v1!

One issue i've seen is that openssl speed doesn't seem to work.

    Code:
    Tomato v1.28.0000 MIPSR2-105 K26 Mini
    root@linksys:/tmp/home/root# openssl speed aes
    openssl: can't load library 'libssl.so.1.0.0'

I have read where shibby was asked this about the E3000 before, the response was to use the RT builds because he felt they run more stable with them. However, you can modify the shibby RT-N linksys e-series builds to work on the E2000 or E3000. You have to download one of the RT-N builds for the E-series (i used to use the E2500 build for my E2000) then remove the first 32bytes of the file (the model header only) then they will work like a generic build for any nv60k units. Toastman compiles 'generic' builds in this manner already.

Is there a reason why the K26 version is preferred?

  54. Mangix

    Mangix Networkin' Nut Member

The RT version has an older driver which is allegedly more stable and gives better performance for the units that can use it.

My experience is the exact opposite so I guess in the end, your mileage will vary.

    Shibby,

Using my Belkin router (F7D7302) with your firmware, I have just noticed my wireless speeds do not go any higher than 11mbps. Testing the latest RAF I get the full 54mbps. I have not tested Toastman's yet. No other changes other than simply flashing (with nvram wiped in between) and comparing. I found this out when my wireless was crawling at random times. I've noticed the rate fluctuates alot on your builds, dipping as low as 5.5mbps.

Are there any standout differences in your builds that could cause this issue?

So that person is me :) and I'm wondering could it also show the LAN IP associated with each port? Or even the device name also like in the device view?

Yes and no. I`m testing this on WL-500GP and robocfg do not report me a MAC`s. Result of robocfg:
well i`m not able to get clients MAC/IP/Name... Problably this is possible on in some on routers like RT-N66U. I will try but nothing promise :)

    And now:

°F to °C Deduct 32, then multiply by 5, then divide by 9
°C to °F Multiply by 9, then divide by 5, then add 32

    so

    from Fahrenheit to Celsius:
    [°C] = ([°F] − 32) × 5⁄9
    from Celsius to Fahrenheit:
    [°F] = ([°C] × 9⁄5) + 32

Maybe what about make this improvement:
temperature< cca for example 75°C -> text value is green/black

temperature>75°C -> text value is red

Hi shibby20, I am using an RT-N16 and your 105 Mega-VPN build. While exploring the nvram variables I noticed a few of them aren't created after a full nvram reset (but are created after a user saves the relevant settings page - even if the default values are kept). I'm not sure if this could cause problems or not, but I thought I'd let you know.
    Code:
    ddnsx_ip
    lan1_proto
    lan2_proto
    lan3_proto
    qos_pfifo = 0
    wl0_country = US
Additionally, the ct_max variable is set to "8192\n" after nvram reset although it is not a multi-line field. After saving the Conntrack/Netfilter page this control character is removed, however.

If these are the intended behaviours, please disregard this post. :)

    3400 does not use wl_high module. Only RT-N53, E2500 and E3200 needs wl_high for 2nd radio works.

Return to Ethernet ports feature i need your help. Please download and run this file:
    i need two information:
    - how fast you get a result?
    - are correct all informations about speed? Specially if you have got gigabit router. Sometimes gigabit connection is present as 10M.

    Thanks.
