Just wondering if I am doing something wrong. I would appreciate your suggestions.

    I have a Linksys WRT54GL v1.1 router and I installed Tomato Firmware v1.28.7633 .3-Toastman-VLAN-IPT-ND ND VPN ( firmware file name is tomato-WRT54G_WRT54GL-1.28.7633.3-Toastman-VLAN-IPT-ND-VPN.bin).

When I access the IP TRAFFIC MONITORING page and check the ENABLE box and then click the SAVE button, the Enable box does not stay checked.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Allen

i actually have 2 of the same version of the wrt54gl v1.1. I the second one does retain the ip traffic monitoring setting. Can't see why the first one will not??

    And furthermore . . . .

Of these two seemingly identical WRT54GL v1.1s - I see that one of them, in the system overview screen shows

    Model Broadcom 4/0x467//0x10/0x2558

instead of the Linksys WRT54G/GS/GL in the other unit.

And this one that says Broadcom also says CPU FREQ = 250 MHZ while the other unit says 200 MHz which I believe is the expected answer.

It is this 250 MHz unit with the Broadcom designation that I am not able to get the IP Traffic Monitoring to work.

    Regards,

    Nevermind . . . .

I reinstalled the firmware on the bad router - this time checking the box - After Flashing, erase all data in NVRAM memory.

Now things are working as hoped and I can enable the IP Traffic Monitoring.
