    Hi Crew,

I have been searching all over for an answer to this and i'm sure its simple but i'm a bit of a noob here. all the tutorials i follow seem to assume that there is only one router device involved. i have 2.

So i'm using tomatoVPN on my Linksys WRT54G. as it is a wireless router but not an adsl modem, the WAN port is plugged into the BiPAC 5200S RC ADSL router.

Everything is running nicely but i want to experiment with an openVPN set up. I have a dyndns and basically done everything that it says here... blog.johnso.org/2009/08/how-to-setup-openvpn-in-tomato.html

I got as far as getting the VPN running and i can connect to it with my Linux machine running networkmanager. it says it is successfully conected and ifconfig show me on but i cannot ping a single thing outside of the tomato router.

    # Use the following to have your client computer send all traffic through your router
    # (remote gateway)
    remote XXXX.dyndns.org
    port 1194
    dev tun
    secret /home/tom/static.key
    proto udp
    redirect-gateway def1

    the wrt tomato is on
the billion is connected to my dsl account at

the only problem is that when i connect, I cannot get access to the internet. i'm sure i'm missing out on something simple, and i think there is something i need to set on the biillion router but what is it?

do i need to bridge this or fiddle with the routing ? could someone give me a clue here. i'm learning here so any advice is useful. should i run the dyndns config on the wrt router or the billion?

    any help or clues appreciated,
