I am using the TomatoVPN mod and have it set up in a tap/udp/static key authentication setup. It works and seems to be working well.

Edit; Add Version: Tomato Firmware v1.27vpn3.6.4b664ba6

However whenever I'm not connected I am getting this in the logs???
    ------------------

    ------------------
    Then Repeats itself

Is this normal or necessary??? It happens about every minute. Seems it would just wait for a connection versus doing the restart. It fills up the logs that's for sure...

    Thanks,

    TikiG

And, though it wasn't mentioned above, tomato rocks!

    Could you try adding
    Code:
    ping-timer-rem
to the custom config? Please report back, as I first noticed that option a few days ago and am considering adding it to the generated config.

    Fixed It!

Added to the custom config, seems to have fixed it.

Log just shows the following which I assume is normal?

    Apr 23 07:00:01 unknown syslog.info root: -- MARK --

    1 per hour.

Thanks for the quick fix, this will help keep the logs much cleaner and greatly increase readability. :)

Glad to hear it fixed it.

That is perfectly normal. See Administration->Logging for an option on how often the marker is generated in the logs (it has nothing to do with VPN).
